Accordion Animated is a WordPress plugin that adds animated open/close transitions to the core Accordion block.
Animation duration and easing are configured per block from the block inspector.
Two optional extended blocks, Accordion Item Extended and Accordion Heading Extended, allow InnerBlocks inside the heading area. Both are interchangeable with core accordion blocks via block transforms.
Features
- Animation controls. Set duration between 100ms and 1000ms with four easing options: Ease Out, Ease In Out, Linear, and Spring.
- Custom toggle icon. Replace the default toggle icon with an image from the media library, with options for rotation direction.
- Extended accordion item. Transform a core Accordion Item into an Accordion Item Extended, replacing the heading with an InnerBlocks-based version that accepts any block content.
- Block transforms. Switch between core and extended accordion variants in both directions.
