Thanks for you intrest in my blog. This post was not went to be a review or side by said comparison. It was a sales point and marketing topic. Marketing strategies intrige me.

yes I agree with wtf,, this was a non info poc (crap) i’m goin to bed ~~ I think I would be able to decide which one to buy only when I look through the viewfinder myself ,, Letus sounds better though,, 7D

This post is more of a sales point post and less of a review. I even mention “Maybe someday I’ll be able to get my hands on one of these things and give it a proper review.” Thus stating the fact I haven’t physically tested the Letus. This post is also right when Letus announced the product so not a lot of info was circulating. Again. This was a Point of Sale post. Not a review.Just comparing two companies with similar products. At the end of the day we are still looking at a 3inch screen on the back of a still camera.

No offence, but saying that the performance of these two are “identical” is a non-statement. You’re unable to judge performance points as you never physically tested the Letus Hawk VF.

Letus is using 3 separate lenses to display the magnification compared to a single diopter that zacuto places in theirs…based that SINGLE spec, you should have been able to properly identify a MAJOR difference between the two.

Thank you for your comment. I appreciate your contribution. This post was put up to compare how close the two viewfinders are. The battle part comes in at the selling point and which viewfinder will become more profitable, not performance. It is in my opinion that the performance of these are identical and what Zacuto has going for them is popularity. Now yes Letus has been around for a long time and is very reputable, but the Z-Finder has captured the amateur and professional community which will make it an up hill battle for Letus in the viewfinder business. I applaud Letus’s entire to the DSLR field and can’t wait to get my hands on a Talon Kit.

This is complete non-info, wtf is the point of putting a bunch of spec’s on a page and call it a battle?

The most detailed piece of info you have to share is that its $10 difference.. wtf??
